Month of the Elderly 2025 Officially Launched

The Dominica Council on Ageing has officially launched the Month of the Elderly 2025, under the theme:
"Honouring the Past, Shaping Tomorrow"

The launch took place yesterday with a successful media event, where the Council outlined the exciting month-long programme of activities designed to celebrate our seniors. This special observance is a reminder of the invaluable wisdom, resilience, and contributions of our elders, who have laid the foundation for the future generations of Dominica.

September 11 – Seniors on the Move Radio Programme
September 16 – Jollys Pharmacy Health Talk with Portsmouth Radiant Seniors (3 p.m.)
September 19 – Senior History Night (Grand Fond Village Council)
September 20 – Health Fair (All Saints University, 10 a.m.–2 p.m.)
September 22 – Centenarians Day
September 22–26 – Centenarians Week (Visits to Residential Homes)
September 24 – Special Program on Herbal Tea & Medicine
September 25 – Seniors on the Move Radio Programme & Cardio Jam with Jollys Pharmacy (Roseau)
